Every build plan sold on JVTDesigns is a digital document: cut lists, assembly instructions, schematics, and a bill of materials. Buying a plan gives you a personal license to build the speaker it describes, for yourself, your home, or as a gift. It does not transfer ownership of the design itself.

By downloading anything from this website, whether free or paid, you agree that you are at least 18 years of age.

Because a plan is a digital file, downloading it counts as receiving the product in full. Once a plan has been downloaded, the sale is final and it isn't eligible for a refund. If a download fails or a file is genuinely corrupted, contact us and it'll be sorted out.

Using a JVTDesigns plan to build and sell speakers as your own product or under your own brand is not allowed. This includes selling on a marketplace, running a storefront, or operating any kind of ongoing business built on the design. The design is licensed for your own build, not as a manufacturing blueprint for a product line.

The plan document, meaning the PDF, drawings, and schematics, is for the buyer only. Reselling it, redistributing it, sharing it publicly, or posting it anywhere others could download it isn't permitted. If you want to share a build with a friend, point them to the listing instead.

To keep plans traceable if a copy ends up somewhere it shouldn't, each PDF is watermarked with the buyer's email at purchase. This isn't meant to get in the way of building. It's there so a plan can be traced back to where it was purchased if it's shared or resold in breach of these terms.

The JVTDesigns name, logo, and site content are the property of JVTDesigns. They may not be used, copied, or reproduced elsewhere. Written content on this site, including the about page, learn page, and similar, is not for reproduction elsewhere.

Information on this site is provided for general guidance and reflects how JVTDesigns actually works, but it isn't a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or that it's current at the moment you read it. Any reliance on it is at your own risk.

Prices are subject to change without notice, and plans may be updated, revised, or discontinued at any time. Discontinuing a design means it's removed from the storefront and no longer offered to new buyers. It does not remove access for anyone who purchased it beforehand. Buyers who already own a plan keep their existing download link and copy.

Bills of materials list specific drivers and components available at the time a plan was written. Manufacturers can discontinue parts or change specifications after that. JVTDesigns isn't responsible if a listed component later becomes unavailable, is revised by its manufacturer, or needs a substitute part to complete a build.

Build plans are provided as-is, with no warranty that a specific outcome, sound, or fit will be achieved. Results depend on build quality, sourced components, and tools used, all outside our control once a plan is purchased. Building a speaker involves power tools, sharp materials, and electrical wiring, and you take on that risk yourself. The guides on this site are not comprehensive safety tutorials, so always read, understand, and follow the safety instructions relevant to whatever tool or equipment you're using, beyond what's shown here.

JVTDesigns isn't responsible for damage or injury resulting from how a plan is actually built or used, including incorrect wiring or soldering, deviating from the design, exceeding a component's stated power handling, or otherwise using or driving the finished speaker outside what the plan specifies. That responsibility sits with whoever builds and operates it.

To the extent permitted by law, JVTDesigns' entire liability for any claim relating to a plan or the Service is limited to the amount you paid for that plan, and JVTDesigns isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of a plan or inability to use it. Where a plan was free of charge, JVTDesigns isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from it, since no payment was made for it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If someone else is injured, or suffers damage or loss, because of a speaker you built from one of these plans, you agree to hold JVTDesigns harmless and cover any legal claim brought against JVTDesigns as a result.

Many of these designs, including anything built for higher output, can produce sound pressure levels loud enough to damage hearing, even when built correctly and run within the stated power handling. That's simply how loudspeakers work at higher SPL, not a defect in the design. Choosing a design suited for loud environments, and how loud it's actually played, is a decision made by whoever builds and listens to it. JVTDesigns isn't responsible for hearing damage or other harm from how loud a finished speaker is run.

If a buyer resells or redistributes a plan, or uses one to build and sell speakers commercially in breach of these terms, JVTDesigns can refuse further sales to that buyer and take reasonable steps to have redistributed copies taken down. This is in addition to, not instead of, the liability terms above.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. If you're buying from outside India, mandatory consumer protections in your own country may still apply regardless of this clause. Nothing here is meant to override rights you can't legally waive where you live.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable in a particular place, the rest of these terms still stand. It only affects that one part, not the whole agreement.

These terms are the entire agreement between JVTDesigns and a buyer regarding a purchase. They replace any prior discussion, message, or claim made elsewhere, including social media, email, or direct messages, about what a plan includes or how it performs.

JVTDesigns is operated by Jivitesh, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. For any dispute, complaint, or concern about a purchase, contact hello@jvtdesigns.com, which also serves as the point of contact for grievance redressal.

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version takes effect as soon as it's posted here, and continuing to use the site after that counts as accepting the update.

Browsing JVTDesigns doesn't collect any personal data. There's no analytics, no tracking cookies, no mailing list, and no account system. Nothing here is set up to identify you or follow what you do on the site. JVTDesigns does not share customer information with outside affiliates.

Purchases are handled entirely through Payhip, not directly by JVTDesigns. When you buy a plan, Payhip collects what it needs to process payment and deliver your download, including your email address and payment details, under its own privacy policy. JVTDesigns receives only the basic order information needed to fulfil a purchase, such as your email and what you bought, and never sees your full payment details.

JVTDesigns may run ads elsewhere to promote this business, on platforms like Google or social media, but this site itself does not carry third-party ad placements or tracking tags. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first to say exactly what's collected and why.

The contact link in the footer opens a plain email. Nothing you send is stored or logged beyond a normal inbox.
